It’s easy to overlook event signage when planning your next corporate event. However, for large events, signing is exceptionally crucial. Well-designed and well-thought out signs help guide attendees on where to go. They’re opportunities for branding and marketing. They’re spaces for sponsorships. Tucking them in hard-to-see, out of the way locations not only makes your event harder to navigate, but also deprives you of great marketing opportunities.
These events didn’t let their signage go to waste. Here are some of the more creative event sign and logo ideas we’ve come across:
Most of us think of signage as being something attached to a wall or marquee, but that doesn’t need to be the case! Big, freestanding signs can create an oversized impact on your attendees. With large, bold letters of your company, or theme, or sponsors, made out of any freestanding material, it’s a great photo op for attendees, which helps increase the spread of your message.
If your event is being held on multiple levels, stair wraps are a creative way to get your message across. It’s a dead space that isn’t normally used, but can be filled with information about what events are taking place on which level, marketing opportunities and much, much more!
Pillars are another great place for wrap-around, 360 degree signage. Either take advantage of your venue’s existing shape and design, or bring in your own stand-alone options. There are electronic pillars that can rotate and light up, making them great options for your entryway.
And, of course, the most important place to get your message across is right at the main entrance. It’s your first chance to make an impression on your attendees. It helps them identify your event right from the very beginning and sets the stage for their entire event experience.
